Day 22

Sorry I missed a post life got hecktic for a while. So to catch ya'll up! Days 19 and 20 were all about figuring out more things for the holiday display. It seems like we have a lot of time but we really don't since it needs to be up in time for the Santa parade and that is before Thanksgiving. So we discussed the artifacts that we have in the collection, the best being an old Santa suite that was worn by the first Santa in the parade. We decided to display that on my sewing manequin I have. Then we were coming up with creative ways to display pictures since that is what will be the majority of the display. Below are some pictures from this and some other things for the display.

Alright for days 21 and 22 we switched gears, my supervisor was working with a collection of a photographer and it was in dire need of weeding and straightening up. I was given an overflowing box that had envelopes with negatives and prints and I needed to weed out all of the contents in each envelope except for one good negative that represented the rest of the pictures. This was difficult to choose just one negative among sometimes close to 20 negatives and prints. After carefully looking through each one I had a wonderfully organized box (pictured below). It was nice changing gears and seeing some results. :) Will update again soon!
