This course is about the acquisition, processing, preservation, and management of materials in special collections and archives.

The main assignment in this course was a paper on our local archive. This assignment allowed me to learn not only about archives and how they run but more about the area in which I live. This assignment is not only useful for getting to know archives but these principles could be used to learn about different types of libraries.
