LIS 647 Introduction to Archival Organization

This course is a basic instruction on the handling, arrangement, conservation, and description of materials of archival significance.

The main assignment in this class was to find an unprocessed collection, process it, then document how we did it and reflect on the process. This assignment gave hands-on experience processing a collection. In the future, I will know how to process a new collection so that the items can be preserved properly.
