LIS 558 Web Design and Evaluation

This course is an introduction to the practical and theoretical issues related to Web design and development as well as other Internet resources and applications.

 

One main assignment in this course was to write a paper on a topic of interest related to Web development, Web evaluation, Web analytics or other approved related topic. I chose to write about the usability of library websites on mobile devices. This is an important topic now that technology is ingrained in our everyday lives. This assignment allowed me to look at the research that been done on this topic so that in the future I can help design clean versatile library sites.
